Supportis
2025
This year we are once again looking for helping hands in exchange for a festival ticket. Without your support - no Sägewerk. We want to create a friendly and personal atmosphere again. That's why it's important to us that you get in touch with us first and foremost because you want to be a part of our festival and not because you're hoping to get some kind of perks or something similar. You can help 3x4 hours during the festival or 1 day after dismantling.
3x4 hours during the festival
You work 3x4 hours during the festival. You can also apply for only 2x4 hours, but then you will only receive a pro rata refund of the festival ticket (see ‘Ticket deposit’ below). You can generally apply for the areas of admission, infrastructure, crew kitchen, backstage support, sauna, runners and jumpers. Specifically, you can also apply for Finizio shifts, the highlight? Here you only have to work 8 hours for a full refund, so you have more time to dance.
If you have previous experience, you can also apply for the Awareness or Bar areas. Please state your specific previous experience in the application process.
- Admission: You welcome people at the entrance! You scan the tickets and hand out wristbands, rubbish bags and other items. You also explain how our rubbish deposit works. At the vehicle entrance, you also check the car and camper tickets, hand out the vignettes for parking and send the cars and campers to their respective car parks.
- Car parking: You are responsible for coordinating the car and campervan parking spaces. You check the vignettes of the vehicles, guide them to their respective spaces and ensure that the car park layout is adhered to.
- Infrastructure: You have an infrastructure shift so that our site doesn't drown in rubbish and deposits. There you will collect deposits and take them to the deposit containers, replace full deposit boxes with empty boxes, replace bin liners and collect rubbish on the site. There is residual waste and glass waste. Deposits must also be sorted. Especially when the floors are closed, waste should be collected on these floors. Otherwise you can explore the whole area.
- Crew kitchen: You support our crew cook in the kitchen.
- Backstage: You ‘guard’ the backstage area. On the one hand, you check that only authorised people are here. At the same time, you make sure that everything that is needed is there and sometimes top up drinks or fill the snack stand.
- Sauna: You ‘guard’ the sauna area. You are responsible for the cleanliness of the spa area, keep an eye on the people in the pool and make sure that there is enough firewood in all the saunas.
- Floor runner: To ensure that everything runs smoothly around the clock on the floors, you support our Stagemanager with whatever is needed. This includes infrastructure, technical supplies and artist communication.
- Jumpers: You ‘jump’ between areas and are deployed wherever a person is needed.
- Finizio shifts: Here you only work once 8 hours. We need your support to ensure that our eco-toilets work well. This includes: refilling toilet paper and litter, emptying rubbish bins, sweeping the cubicles and wiping over the toilet lid if necessary. Don't worry, the people from Finizio are there the whole time to make sure you're in a good mood and hey, you only have to do an 8 hours shift to get the full refund.
1 day dismantling
You will be on site for one day after the festival. The work period is approximately from 09-18 o'clock. Please plan your own arrival and departure. We will decide shortly beforehand exactly which work area you will be assigned to. There are areas such as crew kitchen, infrastructure, floor dismantling and much more.
Supporting together?
You can specify a person you would like to work with during the application process. Please enter their name, email address and the ticket code of the person's ticket. We cannot guarantee that you will work together, but we will do our best.
Ticket deposit
During the application process, you will be asked to pay a deposit of €200 for your ticket. The deposit will be refunded to you via the same payment method after you have successfully completed your support shifts. For 2 completed shifts you will only receive €130 back pro rata. Unfortunately, we had to set the amount higher than last year: we are counting on the registered Supportis to turn up for their shifts - the whole thing only works with you :) And that's why we want to minimise the risk of the support ticket being misused as a free ticket to the festival. However, if you can't afford the €200 fee, you are welcome to send us an email and we will try to find an individual solution.
Autoticket support
If you do not have a regular ticket - because you are supporting us - but want to travel by car/camper, please buy a car or camper ticket yourself. These are available in the ticket shop. You can also find more information on the website - and the much better travel options by bike, public transport or our own Sägebus.
You can apply for support directly via the ticket portal. Here you can apply directly for a dismantling day or for support during the festival. Please let us know if you already have experience or skills - no matter in which area. We will then get back to you with everything else.
